From a PowerPoint brochure to a website that sells — in two weeks

Edison supplies precision hardware, industrial glues, electronic accessories and automation equipment to factories. Good products, real demand — but sales depended on him sending a PowerPoint to every interested buyer.

Jujin Plastic Technology before and after — a static PowerPoint brochure replaced by a website where buyers browse products, request quotations and ask on WhatsApp
Before: product information spread across a PowerPoint file. After: a website where buyers browse the catalogue, ask for a quote and message on WhatsApp.

What was going wrong

There was no website. Every enquiry started with Edison emailing a PowerPoint brochure, then waiting — and a slideshow can only sell so much.

A brochure cannot be found

A buyer searching for a hardware or glue supplier found nothing. Only people Edison had already contacted ever saw the products.

Forty slides, no way to navigate

Four product groups, dozens of items, one long PowerPoint. A buyer looking for one part had to go through everything else first.

No next step inside the brochure

Interested buyers had to leave the file, find an email address and write a new email. Every extra step is a chance to stop — and many did.

What changed

In two weeks, the brochure became a full professional website. Buyers now browse by category, see detailed product pages, and ask for a quote or send a WhatsApp message without leaving the page.

1

A catalogue buyers can navigate

Hardware, industrial glues, electronic accessories and automation equipment each have their own section, with details and photos on every product page.

2

One message, stated first

“One technical supplier for the whole line.” In one sentence, a factory buyer understands why to buy several types of products from one supplier — before seeing a single product.

3

Quotation and WhatsApp on every product

Each product has a “Request quotation” form that goes to Edison’s inbox with the product already named, plus a WhatsApp button for buyers who just want to ask a question.

Why it works

A brochure waits for you to send it. A website is found, read and gets enquiries even while you sleep.

Two weeks, start to live

Days 1–3

Structure from the slides

The PowerPoint already had the products. We sorted them into four groups and wrote the one-line message.

Days 4–10

Build and product pages

Catalogue, product pages, quote form to email, WhatsApp buttons — tested on phones first.

Days 11–14

Review, launch, hand over

Edison checked every product, the website went live, and the brochure became just an extra file.

In the client’s words

“I’m a busy business owner based in China, so I had very little time to give. Richerd worked from nothing more than our PowerPoint portfolio and needed minimal guidance from me. He did a fantastic job — the site is clear and guides buyers straight to requesting a quotation.”
Edison · Owner, Jujin Tech

What to take from this for your own site

You don’t need the same type of business for these to apply. Three lessons that work for almost any small business website.

A PDF cannot be found.

If your products are only in a brochure, only buyers you already contacted will see them. A website reaches the ones you haven’t.

Put the enquiry on the product page.

A quote form that already names the product saves the buyer from writing everything — and tells you exactly what they want.

Give buyers an easy way to just ask.

Not everyone is ready for a formal quote. A WhatsApp button keeps buyers who would otherwise leave with a question.
